The point is that you eliminate some of the teams on that list just by playing the schedule.

1 Loss Oklahoma or Texas
all get in above a 1 loss Ohio St.
I simply listed all of the teams that can fit into those scenarios. Sorry for the confusion.

Deserve has nothing to do with it. They'll need another loss...just like last year. Beating Oklahoma last year puts them in, easily.
