La Tech has done a good job of ducking ULM for the past decade, but hey let's be honest you guys are soooo awesome

I think most people respect ULM and ULL more than Tech

Tech is getting national press, and even had a small segment on college gameday this morning. We have reason to be confident. Things are looking up for Tech. A BCS bowl is still in sight, I didnt start talking shite to ULM until after they started it.

Tech really is a cult full of looms

I am unfamiliar w/BCS selection rules. A non AQ conference champ gets an automatic bid if they are ranked #16 or higher?

We only have to be top 16 if we win the WAC. An undefeated Tech easily cracks the top 16.

And finish ahead of one of the BCS conference champs. If y'all dont, you need to be top 12.

The highest ranked champion of any non-AQ conference will receive an AQ bid if they are ranked in the top 12 of the final BCS poll or ranked in the top 16 and higher than a champion of an AQ conference (Big East).

You sound mad.

I also find it funny how upset people are that there is shite talking between two D1 schools separated by 30 miles.

Take a look at the standings and rankings, hauss. Rutgers, Louisville, and Cinci are all undefeated and won this week. They will all be ranked in the upper mid-high teens tomorrow and they aren't all likely to lose.

You also need to stay ahead of Nevada. They have a good chance of winning out until the end of the year showdown with Boise. If they win out completely, they will be ranked higher than y'all and get the higher-than-16 BCS bid.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that Boise will likely win out as well up to the Nevada game. If both are undefeated, the winner will without a doubt be higher ranked than La Tech and get the BCS bid.

Odds are you guys are playing in the Liberty Bowl.

They will knock each other off, there is no clear cut best team in the Big East. If they do stay undefeated we would have to finish top 12. I still think an undefeated Tech wont be left outside the top 12. We would be somewhere between 8-12 if we went undefeated.

Hawaii in 2009 had a much tougher schedule than y'all and they were very close to not making the top 10.

It's pointless to argue this because whether y'all finish in the top 12 (assuming you go undefeated) is entirely up to how other teams finish the year. The Big XII alone could have 4 or 5 teams ranked higher than that if one of Texas, OU, KState, TCU, and WVU go undefeated and the other 4 round-robin lose to each other. The SEC is guaranteed to have 2 and maybe even 3 or 4 higher than 12 in the final BCS poll. The PAC will have at least 1 and maybe 2, the Big 10 will likely have 1 or 2, and the ACC will have 1 or 2.

Of course, we'll never find out if the pollsters would put an undefeated La Tech in the top 10 because y'all are going to have a vagina when A&M is done with y'all. And they aren't even that good.

Yes they have. And Boise is significantly closer to the top 16 than y'all are, and Nevada is in just about the same boat as y'all with a tougher schedule going forward.

This is like running in circles. This conversation isn't even worth having until after y'all play A&M.

I think i would take 2-2 vs Ark, Auburn, Baylor, and Tulane plus 2+ million.

I think ULM is 4-0 with tech's schedule

Agreed, but I can't see Rutgers, Louisville, or Cinci losing to anyone else on their schedules except the other of those two. Unless they go round-robin losses, one of them will be undefeated. And even if they aren't if the champion is one loss and loses it early, they still have a shot at being ahead of y'all come bowl season. Louisville is #19 right now, if they lose to Cinci (who by 3 weeks from now will be ranked well into the top 20 after that win at VTech), then they win out including beating an undefeated and possibly top 10 Rutgers to close the season, they will be ahead of La Tech to close the year.
