Doesn't a receiver have to do something for more than one or two games before you say he's better?

If we want to talk potential then that is a different story.

Lafell and Scott carried our offense for a large part of last year, yet no one seems to give Lafell credit for what he did.

maybe bc we didnt have a qb that could get the ball to him for the first ten games last year

just wait. toliver will put up comparable or better numbers than brandon this year

I understand LaFell has been more productive because of opportunities, and i think he is a great receiver. It speaks more to the talent level of Toliver than anything against LaFell. I hope LaFell goes in the 1st round and think he will if he runs under a 4.5.

My reasoning here is that Toliver is bigger, faster, has more moves in the open field, is a bit more fluid, and is actually much more physical than he is given credit for. Apparently he has problems with the playbook. I can't really speak to that, but they are both great receivers who could be 1st round draft picks if everything plays out right.

They are very close. I am not saying that Toliver is far superior or anything like that.

look what the kid can do when you get him the ball. and if we are going on stats, toliver > lafell so far anyways

Dude, Lafell is pretty good after the catch as well. TT caught a couple of passes w/o anyone near him and made one good move to score. Lafell has made catches in traffic and then turned them into big plays. I think TT could end up as good as Lafell but Lafell is pretty damn good...

We shall see.

What Lafell did last year with shite at QB getting ignored is borderline criminal

but still by putting him in the top 5 you're saying he's better than Williams, Briscoe, LaFell, Floyd/Tate etc.
