Stoke was the first college football player in history to average 100 yards receiving for his career.

there was a guy from Nevada that did it the same year, but i think Stoke was first

that makes him a pretty ok college player not to mention his NFL career was over a decade

Seems like I read somewhere that he only played 1 year of high school football. Could be wrong about that.

Kinda crazy to think he was that good with only having played a couple of years. Good bloodline though, for sure. Any idea what his 40 time was coming out of hs? I bet it was pretty impressive.

i can't even name 5 players that went there. -- Delhomme, Stokley and Mitchell... that's all i know.

stoke playe 1 year...in that 1 year he had 80 or 88 catches

should have said over 80 catches. lol the two numbers are from my memory of the stats sheet for that season from the advertiser

The Hall of Fame really needs to have a "return specialists" category, and Brian Mitchell should be the first one inducted.
