That's my point. The big ten has yet to cannibalize itself like other conferences have.

True for Minnesota. But Mich St has played Oregon, OSU, and Nebraska. Nebraska has played Michigan State, Miami and will play Wisconsin. Minn has played TCU and will play OSU, Wisc, and Nebraska. Wisconsin has played LSU and will play Nebraska and Minnesota.

If the favorites in each game hold serve, Wisconsin, Michigan State, and Nebraska will all be ranked with solid schedules. Ohio State will have had a weak schedule but they are 1 loss with a convincing win. So that will be 4 teams ranked deservedly in the top 20.

Yes, Minneosta is a farce who should have been canibalised but still, 4 teams EASILY in the top 20 is perfectly respectable. Add in a championship game and the conference isn't a total joke. I think a lot of the problem is OSU's schedule more so than the Big10. Just bad luck that VTech and Michigan are uncharacteristically terrible and they happen to not get 2 of the the 3 really good teams.

True. Mostly just they somehow lost to VT. It's hard to believe the team that went to Sparty and won convincingly also lost to VT this year

But probably much better

I think OSU is the only good team is a sea of mediocrity

I really just have no idea how you measure that. Wisky has a bad loss in NW and a neutral site loss to LSU somehow (yes somehow). Nebraska has looked good overall aside from their escape of McNeese and the first 3 quarters @ MSU, but MSU can stifle a lot of pretty good teams likely

WVU has played some good teams tough, and beaten Baylor so props where deserved. OU I don't know how I feel about

Edit: And I'm in no way saying you are wrong, but just how do you measure a 6-4 team and a 6-3 team against an 8-1 and 7-2 team from another conference? It's so inexact

Wisconsin's loss to Northwestern was right on queue. They haven't won in Evanston since 1999. Didn't see why this would be any different, especially given the conditions. Ryan Field just isn't a good place for Wisconsin.

I can't see Wisconsin losing any of their next three games. They match up well against all three teams.

You don't think they can lose to Nebraska?

Of course Wisconsin can lose to Nebraska. I just don't think they will this weekend. Wisconsin matches up very well with Iowa, Nebraska, and Minnesota's strengths.

First, the game is at Camp Randall. Very difficult place to play.

Second, in two of Nebraska's most important games as a member of the B1G, they've played Wisconsin. The first game was their introduction into the B1G when they got slammed 48-17. The second was the B1G Championship Game when they got ran over 70-31. This is another game with huge stakes. Can't buy them.

Third, it is not clear whether Ameer Abdullah will be fully healthy. He's wearing a knee brace and is said to look "pretty good" in practice, but with frigid conditions on Saturday, he will have to keep that knee in constant motion. Even if he is fully healthy, he will be going against the nation's No. 5 rush defense that allows just 2.90 yards/carry.

Fourth, Wisconsin has a better rush offense, rush defense, and pass defense. Both teams are pretty below-average passing the football with Nebraska having the advantage.

They are 6 point favorites. Hardly worthy of mockery that a fan doesn't see a 6 point upset in the cards
