NASCAR was better when going to Michigan was considered the Northern or Yankee races instead of all the expansion. But, NASCAR's problem is that it is like the WWE in that one family owns it and one family runs it for the benefit of a family instead of running it for the benefit of the sport and the competitors and the teams.

This Charter system is a joke. NASCAR needs to either become like MLB where franchises are the owners who run the sport instead of one family. The thing is that in MLB and NFL the owners are the ones who have it all at stake instead of one family.

I don't blame the France's for keeping NASCAR forever since they are still making money, but NASCAR will start to fade just like Indy racing faded. The Daytona 500 will follow the pattern of the Indianapolis 500 and just become an after thought.

Hockey was also better before it came to Dallas, Phoenix, Florida, L.A., Carolina and Nashville too.

I agree with most of what you said though.
