re: This Eagles team looks good. They may give the Saints a good game in Philly.

I agree, “may” is a very ridiculous conclusion to reach, I think it will be reminiscent of that epic 2013 playoff game

One play didn’t make the game. You’re being a clown dude

It was a huge play that knocked the Redskins out of FG range and knocked 10 seconds off the clock, leaving the Redskins with 15 seconds.
It was not the only reason the Saints won. But they got lucky with that play.
Remove your black and gold glasses for a second and you'll come to the same conclusion.

My black and gold glasses are off, bruh. The result of that play without the grounding is unknown but you choose to believe the result would’ve been highly favorable to the skins, even though at that point of the game, The defense got a sack fumble on the next play too.
Plenty of time for 2 quick plays to get back into range and kick it. Dome stadium means even a longer kick is possible.

You have your own TD board, go jerk off on that.

They lose and the Saints are the 1 seed.
Dallas is running surprisingly well on them which is intriguing.

Yes lucky. Cousins vomited the game away.
This is just wrong. He did everything he possibly could have to keep them in the game. A WR runs a bad route and they get unlucky with the the IG.

If Dallas wins tonight... the Eagles, Vikings, and Saints are tied at 8-2. Saints own that tiebreaker.

How? Honest question because I have no fricking clue, I’m just cheering for the eagles to lose.

quote:Regardless of whose fault it was (Cousins), it was a huge frick up. Saints got lucky there.
"We had a run play called, and based on the defensive look they were giving, it was gonna be a tough run to get, and we were probably gonna get stuffed and have to clock it and hope for the best for the field goal," he said (his comments can be seen in the video above).
"I looked over to the sideline out of the corner of my eye and saw the coaches saying, 'Throw it,' and they wanted, potentially, an audible, get to an actual pass play," he continued. "I thought they were saying if you just throw it by Jamison [Crowder], in the general area of Jamison, there's an eligible [receiver] in the area and there's no penalty."
So, according to Cousins, the miscommunication wasn't between him and Crowder, which is what most assumed during the game. Crowder was simply going to block, which was his assignment for the run play that the offense originally went to the line with.
The issue actually occured between the passer and the sidelines, with Cousins not catching onto his coaches' desire for him to audible into a pass. And that late slip-up will unfortunately be what most remember from a day where No. 8 was mostly on-point.

Do you consider the Pats lucky?

Like, in general? Or are you referring to something specific?

Let’s take their last 2 super bowl wins. Was that luck?

Cousins thought that when the coaches said throw it, he thought they meant just throw it in the general direction of Crowder.

No.
