Hmmm, why was it outlawed? I didn't know MLB had a height requirement.

There was a recent article in The Athletic on this guy. He lived a depressing childhood and had a tragic adult life. Died at 36. Couldn't have been fun being physically handicapped in the 20/30s.

He was basically forced by physical threat from the team owner to perform the baseball stunt.

My guess they outlawed it because it made the batters box so small.
