The media may keep things peaceful for Hud with rank and file fans but the boosters have not been happy with him since the Trump incident. Doesn't help that the football team hasn't been worth a shite since the 2011 recruiting class left.

I'm right there with you, brother. I grew up a hardcore Cajun fan, but I also have a brain. If the university, media, and fan base aren't careful and don't wise up a bit, something really bad could end up happening bc of the rally-round-the-flag culture that's growing there.
One minute you're glossing over the fact that you lied about the funding support for a stadium, the next you're systemically covering up a history of sexual assault throughout the program. It's not that much of a stretch...
It's easy to see how things like that end up happening.
