NBC's coverage of the French Open has been awful for years. I wish they'd give up the rights to it.

It's terrible. Show the sport some respect if you're going to pay for the rights or forget it. The best thing I've seen out of them happened by fluke. Mike Tirico filled in one weekend when Dan Hicks did golf and it was a great crew with him, Mac, and Carillo.

I know NBC Sports is going away soon, but why the frick has NBC not put as much coverage as possible on that channel every year? What better do they have to show from 5am-Noon during the week? fricking nothing.
Tennis Channel is great and all, but it's not offered on all streaming services, and their app isn't offered on a lot of devices. It's really not all that accessible unless you're paying for DirecTV or Cox, etc.
NBC Sports should have been showing tennis non stop the last two weeks. frick Peacock.

Probably common knowledge but since I didn’t see it posted… Nadal and Joker have played 57 times. A Rafa win tomorrow would tie the H2H at 29 each.

Line looks inflated but when you consider last year the balls, temperature, humidity were all supposed to benefit Novak and he still got slaughtered… I can’t see what else he can do. It’s not like there’s a plan B here. He just has to redline and hope Rafa has an off day.

Djoker would need to win in some type of physical TKO. I do have a strange feeling Djoker tires him and Tsitsi delivers the knockout.

I think this is a major possibility, but then I remember that this would be Tsitsipas' first slam final.
We saw Thiem choke against Djokovic in the 2020 Aussie Open final. We saw Medvedev look like a dear in the headlights against Djokovic in that same final a year later. That wasn't the first slam final for either of them, but you just never know how these young guys will react on the biggest stage against one of the all-time greats.

People might be sleeping on Zverev a bit here. It’s hard to trust him with those 2nd serve yips, but he should have less pressure. He has an edge on the backhand wing and 1st serve as well. That Tsitsipas forehand is ridiculous though.

I wonder why ESPN hasn't bought the rights to it yet. They have the other 3 grand slams.

Pretty routine first set to Tsitsipas.
Zverev needs to serve out of his mind, and just hope he can get into some longer rallies on Tsitsipas' serve and hope Tsitsipas makes some errors.

Zverev's game seems to have a lot of similarities with mine at the present, lol. I generally root for Tsitsipas, but I would like to see him win by having to play well, rather than Zverev hacking his way through this and looking totally lost.
How about the swinging volley he just missed a few minutes ago standing in the service box on a floater that might have even been out had he let it hit?? Sad to see.
