Nadal pulled out of IW and Miami.

Wow. That’s smart, but i’m surprised. Apparently somebody advised him not to run his body ragged.

Could be, but I think the injury is worse than we are led to believe. He has never won Miami and I feel that is another one he would like to have at some point. Don't feel like this is for rest at all.

Pretty sure this is the case. He went to Acapulco with every intention of playing all 3 hard court tourneys. He even waited for the MRI results because he still wanted to play IW and Miami. Cant believe he’s 0-5 in Miami finals.

Weirdo Donaldson grinds out the second set against Anderson and sends it to three.

Definitely a bit of a freakshow. I can't believe Tennis Channel picked Donaldson for the My Tennis Life documentary. I mean, he would be the last guy I'd pick on the men's tour. Safarova was a good choice for the ladies. Maybe Donaldson has some Rain Man entertainment value.

Not many other good options, I guess, although I’d be curious to see if guys like Isner or Querrey actually practice or train in their spare time.

Anderson wins. But I give Donaldson credit, he acquitted himself nicely.

I tossed down a fiddy spot on Delpo at even money.

And by "even money", I mean "free money". Ba Dum Tssh!

I’m personally leaning the other way. I feel like Zverev won’t make dozens of errors like Thiem did. But taking Delpo isn’t bad at all. Even if you lose, you won’t look back and say, “Damn, that was a stupid bet.”

ETA: Now Zverev, that would have been a stupid bet, although he was injured.

That's pretty cool. A lot of guys already play dubs there, but that is some serious incentive on top. Dubs is so quirky now with the no-ad scoring and super tiebreakers.

Good stuff from King. He had triple set point on Fritz's serve and got rolled after that. But then, was great in the tiebreak. This match will get us to the Delpo match in an hour, so it's all good.

I'm liking this recent play from Delpo. He's finally starting to come over his backhand. When he's doing that, he can beat anybody.
