The three AAC West private schools all look atrocious. What's going wrong?

All three did OK in recruiting. All three are paying competitive salaries.

Why are they all rooted to the bottom of the division?

I would love for an outside opinion here. I think SMU might be the best of the three despite being 0-3 (schedule has been nasty so far, and doesn't get that much better).

SMU will get boat raced by TU. I’m not sure what Tulane does to them though.

Tulane will need a rape whistle for the next three games.

Tulane has a veteran offensive line and they still get their asses kicked up front. The offense is bland and I’m guessing that the OL is the cause of that.

They offense is supposed to feature a lot of option type plays but it doesn’t, so the run game is predictable just as the passing game is.

Here's the Tulane melt thread I needed.

We are just bad.. For all the shite Banks talked about UAB this week he completed 7 fricking passes out of 24 attempts. Fritz has won everywhere he's been but I don't think he completely understood the raging dumpster fire of a program he inherited. Yes we have improved somewhat since the fat frick Bob Toledo and the last couple years of Curtis Johnson, but we are perpetually a 4-8/ 5-7 team. We can never turn the corner

This year is probably 4-8. I pray to the lord we can at least beat Tulsa, SMU, and East Carolina.
