He is the most interesting and extreme analytics player in the league, imo. You don’t have to agree, but according to the statistics he is 72x more efficient at hitting this season than the average player. He also is tied for 12th in overall WAR.
Gallo has finally turned the corner on drawing walks. His OBP is 90 points higher than his career average this season. And still has power with 17 HR thru 50 games played. Cut down on K's and he's going to the power hitting FA everyone is going to want but maybe not a Harper/Machado level since he will be in his age 29 season when he is due for FA.
