Ridley is building a strong little following on there lately too. He dominated the league in which he was the only black dude, son!

Wow, there is a fricking Murphy can win the heisman thread on there. shite

I love how comfortable he is with using Herb Tyler and Vick for the same comparable.

Is it really from his numbers in that B.S. Private school league? I thought he must have at least looked incredible from the spring game and practice or something. I can vouch for that league he played in being a complete joke. A guy like Trindon would average 25 yards a carry in that league.

yeah False River won that league when it was called LISA league and they pretty much could only beat LSD when they moved to 1A LHSAA ball.

any of scott, murphy, ridley or williams would win the heisman if miles didn't make them all share carries.

i could see murphy getting 1500+ easily in a lesser conference with a more wide-open offense getting him the ball in space

but that would pretty much preclude him from winning a heisman

backs like charles scott rarely win heismans nowadays

It would be tough for us to have a Heisman Candidate this year, even if we had one stud getting all the carries. We won't be at the top to start the season and no one will be getting exposure all year to make up for it. I do think JR would have been the front runner last year had he come back, but that is done now.

then he could win the heisman, fumble a lateral and lose a national championship and get drafted by the saints 2nd overall.

northwestern, michigan, notre dame, etc grads it isn't funny

of those 3, NW is the only one with a renowned J school. The Big 12, with UT and Mizzo has 2 ofthe top 10 J schools, UNC is another.

With Tebow's TDs, no. However he would have been up there.

I wanted to go to Mizzou because thats where Costas went. and it seemed like a great city. i just couldnt turn down br.

and uf and uga have solid j schools. LSU has the Manship school and has been putting a lot of money into the school. And The Reveille is the top paper in the country (at least in the top 3, i think the rankings fluctuate). and unc has a solid paper and j school.

I'm not conceding JR wouldn't have won last year. We won a National Title and Beat Florida Heads up. He probably is on every list as a top 5 draft pick on top of it. He would have had better numbers in everything but rushing and rushing TDs as well. We'll never know, I'm just saying the possibility was def. there.
