What’s crazy about Kobe Bryant dying is suddenly people think he was in the MJ/Lebron discussion. If you asked people 10 days ago, Kobe isn’t even a thought. The great Kobe Bryant even missed the playoffs after Shaq left.

If it weren’t for Ron Artest bailing him out he definitely doesn’t win one of his two final titles. Pau Gasol did quite a bit as well. You can definitely take a shot at Lebron when mentioning MJ, but with Kobe....he’s not even close to the player that Lebron has been or is.

Believe me I've watched TONS of sports debate shows since Kobe retired and many former players interviewed consider Kobe probably superior to LeBron in the discussion: Stephen Jackson, Jim Jackson, Rashad McCants, etc so it isn't a recency death sympathy thing now

I think players would rather be a Kobe style player than a LeBron style player. It's always been understandable to me that players love a shooter.

Where’d that get LeBron? Sure didn’t get him to an NBA Finals or NBA Finals win so it’s irrelevant.

Of course, they're stone-cold killas, which LeFraud is not, and that's why hardcore bball fans and current/past players hold those two in such high regard probably higher than LeBum, it's so obvious when you hear them speak on Kobe and MJ, Mamba Mentality

Then explain why Lebron was wayyyyyyy better in clutch moments and final shots for the win in the playoffs than Kobe...

The killer, the mamba mentality was pretty shitty in those moments, and Lebron with no clutch gene and not being a killer was obviously better.

Weird...

I think there was even a Wade/Kobe thread and Lester Earl made a good case for Wade.
Peak Wade for a few seasons 100% played the game of basketball at a higher level than Kobe ever did for a sustained period of time. I honestly don't even think it's up for debate, it's not THAT close.

But Kobe played more seasons at a high level than Wade.

You’re so edgy with your LeBron nicknames.

Neither did Scottie Pippen. Ledouche never had a Pippen caliber sidekick. Wade at his peak wasn't Pippen good, and Wade was on worn out legs when Ledouche took his talents to South Beach.

The difference between ledouche and Kobe/MJ is Shaq and Pippen and Phil Jackson.

Neither would have gotten a Tattoo of LEBron a few days after his death.

For 20 seasons fans considered Kobe to be selfish , shot jacker or a ball hog/ chucker. Even Kobe mentioned it after his final game.

Now since he is "St. Kobe", at the moment , he had the ideal Basketball mentality .

Winning a championship in June is all that matters & not beating an under .500 Blazers team in February.

LeBum sure is wayyyyyy better at choking like he did in the 2011 Finals and 2010 Eastern Finals when his team had HC advantage throughout, wayyyyyy better at giving up on his team like he did overtime game 1 2018 Finals when the Cavs still had a chance for a big W on the road, wayyyyyy better at choking away a 2-1 lead in the 2015 Finals when the Cavs achieved that series lead without Kyrie and Love and 2 games remaining in Cleveland, wayyyyy better at tanking the 2019 Lakers season by destroying team chemistry with offering the entire team to the Pels for AD and committing a public fraud with his tweet right after sustaining the groin injury, and wayyyyyy better at missing the playoffs which he's done 3x his career, 2x in a weak conference

Kobe's living rent-free in your MIND

your life's on the line and you can only choose Kobe or LeBron, you're gonna choose LeChoke in a big-stakes moment? Cmon bro don't be a schmuck.

Maybe this time you should try to answer the question. You're obviously dodging it because you know it makes you look foolish so I'll keep asking it and keep making you look silly. Answer it.

I'll choose the guy who factually, literally was better in the postseason when going for the win in the final seconds. And that's not Kobe.

That's cool you don't want to accept facts, but that doesn't make them any less factual.

My favorite part is given how many posts he's made and how obviously emotional he's been about this, then randomly says Kobe is in my head with no self awareness there.

I'd actually choose RAY ALLEN over Bron, Allen did save LeBron's legacy with that three in the 2013 Finals, LeBron attempted a three prior to that BRICK but Bosh got the rebound luckily

Why would you choose a guy who goes up WEAK for a last-second shot against the Knicks like Bron did last season?

Lebron is better than both, and his stats—even his finals record—indicate this.

Would MJ's career be better with a 6-4 finals resume?
Of course it would. You’d have to be severely mentally retarded not to agree.
