Apparently his defense is much improved. And I'm expecting a shitload of Hornets fans to start referencing this stat now that it shows Pual in a positive light.

I still cannot believe that Steve Nash has 2 MVP's

I know why he won them. Just do not agree with them

Will Chris Paul win multiple MVP's during his career?

The strange thing about this stat is it showed Paul as basically a bottom 5 defender last year and a top 5 defender this year. Did he really improve that much or is the stat out of whack?

from hollinger:

quote:

Number crunchers will note that Paul's on-court vs. off-court defensive numbers were terrible while his offensive ones were unbelievably good last season, but that overstates things in both directions. It stems from the qualities of the Hornets' second unit, which essentially took the floor hoping for a scoreless tie and often succeeded.

You know, it REALLY doesn't take stats to show how much better CP3 is than any other point guard. Throw out any excuse you want, it doesn't take away from the fact that he is the best PG in the NBA and likely third best player overall. I, personally, love Deron Williams' game. He is a great player and I watch the Jazz any chance I get, but seriously, he isn't on Paul's level. No one is. Nothing any of you opposing fan douchebags say is going to stop that from being a fact.

The only other person that gets close is Wade, and I wouldn't give anyone shite for saying Wade was better.
