The Braves start a long 21 day stretch tonight where they will play only 4 games at home. The road series will be at the Rockies, Cardinals, Rays, and Reds with two, two game sets at home against the Reds and the Marlins, which will be played in between the Cardinals and Rays series. Kind of a strange schedule during the period, but it is what it is. Let's look at the series probables:

Tonight (7:40) - Guillermo Moscoso (10.80 ERA) vs Huddy (3.60 ERA)
Tomorrow (7:40 on MLB Network) - Jamie Moyer (3.14 ERA) vs Minor (4.68 ERA)
Sunday (2:10) - Juan Nicasio (4.40 ERA) vs Beachy (1.38 ERA)

Lineup:

Bourn CF
Chipper 3B
Freeman 1B
Mac C
Uggla 2B
Heyward RF
Hinske LF
Wilson SS

Let's do this shite

Gonna find out whether this team has it over these next 21 days or not.

Having the Cards, rays, reds, and rockies on the road is probably one of the most difficult stretches of the year.

On a better note, Evan Gattis off to a pretty good start in AA. IF he beasts AA this year, he may be ready for a call up next year.

Let's go Bravos! Glad to see Huddy back!

Why is Pastornicky not starting again? Does he need to get 22-year old legs on ice?

Meh. I really can't begrudge him that one, and I'd be first in line to sign a petition to have Fredi fired. Pastornicky might be the worst defensive SS I have ever seen. He's the SS version of Uggla.

We are facing a pretty terrible pitcher and have a groundball pitcher going in a park where the ball flies. Don't think it makes much difference who the SS is. Plus if you are going to let Jack start, it might as well be when Huddy is on the hill.

We will win this game.

Yeah, if he can somehow manage to play at least slightly subpar defense in LF we could have an interesting prospect for LF and a great third catcher. Simmons is doing awesome at AA as well.

I'd personally start Wilson in almost all of Hudson's starts, Pastornicky is pretty bad defensively. Having him and Uggla up the middle would kill Huddy.
