I have a good feeling Bourn stays next season.
Don't get your hopes too high. I would put it at 10% we re-sign him.

I hope so.
While I agree that Pastornicky should be starting, he's just not a very good baseball player.

What is Bourn going to get on the market? 12-15 a year?
The way I see it, we will have between 65-70 mill. locked up after arbitration and picking up McCann and Hudsons option.
That would give us a full bullpen and 7 starting pitchers.
We would be short a CF, LF and all 5 bench spots.
So you can afford Bourn if you want next year, but you still have Hanson, Beachy, JJ, Prado, Heyward, and Freeman to pay through arbitration over the next few years and you aren't going to be able to resign McCann.

Yeah I'd say somewhere between 11-13 if I had to guess.

He isn't worth that much, but that is what baseball has become.

We can not let Kemp hit homeruns this series. He has 9 in 15 games and its been a big reason they are successful.

SF took game 1 of the double-header against the Metropolitans and just now got to Dillon Gee early in game 2, knocking out 3 runs in the top of the 1st.
Now. Y'all do work too.

Rohan, IDK much about the PCL this year. I do think the Z's play Fresno this year.

Braves will try to resign Bourn, but I doubt they will be able to. Could see them trading for Denard Span or Dexter Fowler. The reason I say those guys, is we really need our CF to bat leadoff. Prado is your ideal #2 hitter, and should fit in nicely at 3B next year.
If Braves are going to overpay for someone, it needs to be McCann, not Bourn.

I wouldn't mind Span, although I'm sure we wouldn't enjoy paying him $6.5M in 2014.

I say we walk Kemp no matter what!

Fowler is just awful at leadoff IMO. He strikes out way too much. Hell, Prado is a better leadoff than him.

Pssshh Kemp ain't got shite on J Hey

I'd rather avoid him due to his defense.
eta: but I'd take that .350 OBP at the top of the lineup though.

I don't think the Braves are gonna want to sign McCann for the number of years he wants them to. Just a gut feeling.
