Schafer will be a big leaguer for a long time. He will be a good player to have on the bench at worst.

We don't need Schafer at all if we get Bourn. Schafer is a poor man's Bourn.

I just like as much speed on the bench as possible. Keeping a schafer means not having to have a Brandon hicks/ Wilkin on the bench.
