The Dodgers aren't going to trade Kemp, and even if they did he would just pull a Texiera on us.

We need to get a new hitting coach because Parrish is ruining our prospects. Atleast our OBP was higher with Terry

We ain't getting Kemp. If we were to get him, we are the best team in baseball, but don't worry about that cause WE AIN'T GETTING KEMP

I was just fricking around. Some Braves fans have been obsessed with him though. Also, Selig won't allow "franchise changing trades".

It's crazy the difference between this offense and last

we were first in the NL in OBP last year. FIRST

now we have to be near last, if not last.

It's dumb. If we can get some guys on base for Mac and crew, this offense can be dangerous

.305 OBP with an OPS+ of 90. Not worth it

and yet he still has 25 steals so far this season. that's tied for 5th best in the bigs. how many swiped bags does ATL's leading base-stealer this year have?

He would be perfect, seriously.

His speed and defense are incredible, and just what this team needs. It's amazing what taking him off of steroids did to his career. So promising.

He occasionally takes some crappy routes to flyballs, but he is fast enough to make up for it. They were talking about how he was trying to focus on hitting the ball up the middle and to left during the game the other day when he went 4-5, and I thought he might have finally gotten it. Then he gets on base one time in the next 2 games. I don't think he's ever going to really understand that he doesn't need to hit the ball very far to get on base. Anything he just hits to the left side of the infield is going to give him a decent chance of getting on.

I meant in the entire MLB. If we were talking just in the NL alone, that seems about right

Yeah his approach was starting to get better

He just doesn't stick to it

Even those choppers to SS like in tonight's game will result in a bang bang play(he was safe). Once he realizes that, he can be better. Still, maybe not good enough though
