Marmol will forever be remembered by when for when pretty Ricky Ankiel hit a triple on him last year to beat the cubs after a huge comeback win in wrigley. The funny part was Ricky had like a .200 batting average.

The sad part is thts .030 higher than uggla's BA.

June or not, if we can close the gap/take the lead on the Phils that's never a bad thing bro

Eta: as one of the biggest Buster Posey haters on this board, my condolences for your loss.

need to be concerned with fixing the lineup. plus that young pitching down the stretch should be worrisome. Phils don't have the same question marks as the Braves.

i appreciate that

but you shouldn't hate Buster, you should hate the ump

and your point?

when you're in a division with a team like the Phils, you have to apply as much pressure early on as you can, because you know they will make a run later on in the year.

plus it's not like we're a few weeks into the season, we're over a third of the way in. A division lead will be a huge momentum & confidence boost to a team that severely needs one.

which is the exact reason a lead in June is important for this team.

just love the bipolar nature of Braves fan. y'all can never seem to relax and let things play out. it's either love or hate.. never a sit and wait and enjoy the season as it comes.

I'm sorry we have a competitive division

And we should be completely healthy by July until Chip gets his season ending injury

I'm not worried about our one rookie SP either

Coming from someone who's favorite team is in the NL West.

You and I both know that division is weak.

ETA: true, I guess a better word would be dislike

yeah your pitching is pretty solid. just hope that Jurrjens can keep it up. seems to be on pace for a 2009 type year or better.

the D-bags are legit!!!!

seriously though, if the Rockies can get Ubaldo back into form they're going to be tough. Dodgers are crap and Padres are really missing A Gonz. plus their pitching staff isn't having the stellar year they had in 2010.
