So far we're 1-2 in games that Fredi has made absolutely pathetic decisions. A week ago Sunday against the Mets, Thursday vs. the Dodgers, and yesterday vs. the Giants. He is so, so bad.

Hundley has a lower career OPS vs. lefties than righties, O'Flaherty had just struck out Headley hitting right handed. And to top it all off, O'Flaherty is a far, far better major league pitcher than Linebrink.

Hopefully Wren will get rid of Linebrink, like he did Matt Young. He has shown that he is willing to get rid of awful players, even when the manager doesn't think they suck. The only exception was keeping Greg Norton around throughout the entire 2009 season.

I like Martinez better than Linebrink, but do we have anybody to call up if we were to drop Linebrink? And who would be our long relief guy? Obviously Assencio has had some issues.

I don't want to call up Minor just to be a spot long relief guy. Better he gets consistent starts in the minors and keeps developing.
Our pen will look a lot better when Moylan gets back. But I don't trust Linebrink or Sherrill at all. Especially Linebrink.
