I agree. Chipper should bat 5 or 6 hole at this point, but Fredi is going to bat him 3-hole out of respect.

Chip hasn't been a 3-hole hitter for a while now, but he could still be really good in the 2, since he still draws a shite ton of walks. Of course, I'd rather JHey up there.

Chipper is still a very good hitter, arguably our most productive hitter last year

Uggla hit 70 games in the 4 hole.
Mac hit there 54 games.
Not sure the split of when this occurred, but I'd suspect you are right, because Mac's numbers in the 3-hole are much worse than in the 4-hole, which says to me he hit 4-hole early.

Only when Mac was out I believe.
It will be the same as last year most likely. Mac will bat 4 hole against most righties while Uggla will bat 4 against most lefties.
