I think he finds it laughable that our solution would be to bring up any one of these deadbeats that are "in house."

Oh, well I guess we could always pay a vet a couple millions dollars to be the back up the 1 or 2 weeks of the regular season Wilson will be out.

Makes sense.

The fact that any amount of time at all is being used to discuss replacement options for crappy Jack Wilson is laughable.

1. He is a backup infielder
2. He is a crappy backup infielder
3. Anyone who replaces him will likely be just as good if not better.

True, Had some good defensive days back in Pittsburgh but those days are over. I would rather them bring in someone to platoon with Pastor and just see what he could do. Simmons is likely not ready yet.

He'd still be good in the field, but yeah, he can't hit for a plum nickel.

Or we could pay a few million to replace Jack Wilson, I swear it's like the last month of the baseball season didn't happen last season...and Wren did ZERO to address it.

I wish we could, but what's done is done. Wren waited entirely too long to address the issue and we got stuck with what was left.

It's not been entirely ruled out by #Braves. RT @ajcbraves DOB, why doesn't Oswalt think about being a Brave? Close to home.

That is so fricking retarded. No way in hell we would ever bring in another pitcher. If we signed Oswalt, I swear I would just skip this season.

Watched top 10 right now last night. They had Bourn about 5th/6th best CF in baseball.

Fredi didn't make their list of top 10 managers.

They did state that quantifying a best manager is largely up to preference, because a lot of different styles have succeeded.

Swamps do you have the prospect handbook? If not do you want me to post the organizational depth chart they did?
