Any thoughts on why Freddie isn’t playing 1st? Can’t imagine Adams being nearly as good as him with the glove

Not a lot of scheduled days off this year, so Snit is taking advantage of the NL having a DH.

I caught a little bit of AA's interview on MLB network radio on Thursday. He said after Freddie went 0-4 with 4 Ks, he said something like, "I never wanna DH again". Then he's back at first Wednesday night and goes 4-5 lol

I’m ready to see Contreras and Jackson occasionally get a start over Flowers. They’ve all been solid defensively and Contreras has been the only one to do anything offensively, save Jackson’s one game

Contreras maybe (although, he swings at literally everything and that will catch up to him quick), but definitely not Jackson.

With dArnaud's great bat it would be awesome if he could catch 75% of the time. Keeps hitting like this Snit might should DH him some. Maybe Flowers will surprise & get a few hits tonight.

I hate how many holes this team still has. The upcoming offseason needs to be when we absolutely go for it. And that will have to be through trades, since there are only like 3 free agents that we might go after who are difference makers

How in the world is Jackson still getting MLB playing time? I know he was a first round pick a long time ago but his bat has never translated

That was a nice inning for Touki. He has had the same issue as Newcomb, which is getting shelled the second time through because he can't locate his fastball. He looked good in the spring though, so hopefully it translates.

Wow. That was a great pitch by Wacha. Not much Acuna could do with that. Painted the inside corner with a changeup that fell off the table.
