Molina being the best of all time is far from a laughable comment.

How nasty would it it be if Minor could learn to throw that Maddux, back-up 2-seamer to righties?

I wonder if lefties can do it?

he has a career 102 wrc+

i don't care how good his defense is and i do not give a frick about his 'intangibles', he is not close to the best of all time

whatever

whoever was asking about DirecTV channels for the Braves game, you are looking for 649 or 646.

You're an idiot.

He began his career at 21, way before his bat was ready.

He's a legit threat at the plate now, and a .300+ type hitter. frick his career offensive stats.

He's the best defensive catcher of all time, who has blossomed into a hell of a hitter.

One of the best baseball minds of all time said he is better than Bench.

So basically, whatever The White Lobster thinks is pretty irrelevant.

Any run is a good run the way this team has hit.

do you have a link to dave duncan's comments? i'm sure he just meant defensively

yadi is good offensively for a catcher, but way too flawed to be considered an all time great. even now, he doesn't walk and has meh power. he hits a lot of ground balls and has no speed, so he hits into a ton of double plays

like that

Why wouldn't you throw out the runner at home there? Could've gotten him easily. Braves have made some questionable fielding decisions this series

So what catcher is better than Molina?

He's the best defensive catcher of all time, who also hits over .300. I mean, really? How is this even being contested this much.

Not to mention his game calling ability, his management of a staff and team, and his heart and soul which influences his ability to hit in the clutch.

Cards lack of speed cost them a run yet again this season.

i thought you were arguing for molina, but i disagree...i do not think pudge rodriguez is the best catcher of all time

(and i could not give less of a shite about batting average or all that immeasurable intangible stuff)
