Just going to point out that Reed's supposed 2 year deal is a second year club option with a 150k buyout. If the Braves brass decides they like Schafer more than Reed now we could easily trade Reed. Reed is basically signed for 1 year 1.75 mil if you include the buyout, not like that is a huge detriment in a trade.
And I'd personally like to see this given Schafer's performance this year. Most of Reed's value is redundant with Gattis and Schafer on board.
