more like they would have never drafted him. They didn't sign their first 3 picks that year, I suspect they had no intention of signing them. They drafted a local kid that even his parents lawn guy could have told you was going to college, but the Astros get to say, well we tried by he wanted to go to college and Chad Jones wanted to play FB blah blah.
