Bama couldve went 6-6 this year and they would still be favored over every single team on a neutral field. if they get in over Ohio State its because they scheduled Mercer instead of Oklahoma. both teams have the same conference record, one team won their conference, the other team didnt win their own division. literally the only difference is one team lost an out of conference game to a top 4 team and the other team didnt beat a single team in the top 15.

if you say "the best 4 teams should go" we should just skip playing for conference championship weekend. the best team doesnt always win

I agree “best four teams” is too nebulous and subjective. But are you just going to gloss over the fact OSU had two losses, one a blowout loss to Iowa?

No, it will be because they didn’t get blown out by a team that finished 7-5. Alabama scheduled Florida State who came into the game at number 3 and lost their quarterback for the year. Where is Oklahoma without Mayfield? FSU wasn’t a championship caliber team, but they were a whole hell of a lot better with Francois at quarterback.

Agreed. If it was the 4 best teams, shouldn't penn st get some attention? Only lost 2 games, both on the road in back to back weeks to top 20 teams, by a total of 4 points.

Meh. You have the whole season to pare down each conference down to one entrant. It is stupid to entertain putting two teams in from one conference when there are 9 conference and 120+ teams.

If you believe this you're retarded.

After about the 3rd loss the betting community wouldn't exactly be throwing big bucks on Bama.
