and why exactly is the Astrodome not torn down yet?

Because of its close proximity to Reliant Stadium (literally right next to it) and environmental concerns - the area is densely populated. There are several apartment complexes across the streets from Reliant Park.

Talkng airports, DFW is great if you live here because the terminals are all horseshoes where you can drop off/pick up or park near any gate, unlike ATL for instance where the terminals are straigh lines and if you are on the far one your train ride is about a mile.

yep.. i live in Dallas, and travel a ton.. ive seen nearly every major airport in the country, and DFW is at the top for accessibility..

Detroit and DFW terminal D are probably the nicest in the country..

I drive by the old Texas Stadium everyday on 183. I actually have my alarm set early to watch that eyesore die.

I thought this was all BS? Aren't they STILL paying for repairs made to it when the Astros still played there?

They're still in debt from renovating it 20 years ago for the Oilers. But I don't see how that would affect what I mentioned. The place has pretty much been neglected for almost a decade. Only security guards and maintenance personnel are allowed to enter, I think.
