i know that. and ill determine that after a couple of weeks.
who do you really have that will be a good longterm keeper for me. hence the reason i thought you should have dealt with me. but oh well

Ron i can prob get my bro in as well, as long as the draft day suits him
Posted on 8/28/08 at 6:55 pm to Lester Earl
les, if we can get enough to keep it in td, i would prefer that since everyone on heres knows each other sort of.
i think we could get some guys like boom, swam, and tdk to do it.
i posted this in the fantasy thread, so we will see how it goes the rest of the night and tomorrow

OK, so here are the rankings the way I see it.
1. El Tigre- Roster is loaded from top to bottom. IMO, the best trio of WR's with Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson, and Brandon Marshall to go along with Dallas Clark at TE. This team doesn't have a true star at RB, but Lewis and Parker are both solid.
Weakest player: Dominic Rhodes
Wildcard: Deangelo Williams
2. PCT- I might be a little biased, but this team is also loaded. Probably the deapest team at RB with MJD, Maroney, and McFadden. Steve Slaton is also a guy to watch in Houston. This team also has a nice trio in receivers with TO, Bowe, and Chambers along with Daniels at TE.
Weakest Player: Ted Ginn Jr
Wildcard: Steve Slaton
3. RMCC316- Strong team. Peterson and Bush is a really good combo in a ppr league. Same thing with Welker and Gonzales. I like the Cutler pickup as an insurance policy for Derek Anderson.
Weakest Player: Michael Bush
Wildcard: Jerious Norwood
4. Karma Police- Any of the top 4-5 teams in this league could be higher or lower. Karma easily has one of the best teams. S. Jackson, Clinton Portis and Fred Taylor is probably the strongest trio in the league. Moss and Smith is one of the better duos. Vernon Davis could be in for a breakout year. My only question is the qb situation. Eli Manning and JT O'Sullivan. Boom or bust.
Weakest Player: Andre Davis
Wildcard: Vernon Davis
5. Jobu- Once again, Jobu has a receiver led team. It worked for him last year. Reggie Wayne, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jericho Cotchery, along with Antonio Gates, makes up for a really good core in a ppr league. RB's, However, are a really big question mark. Are Forte and Edge good enough to be fantasy starters? We'll see.
Weakest player: LJ Smith
Wildcard: Ricky Williams
6. The Goodfellas- This may be the team that flies under the radar for most of the season. Strong across the board. Gore and Jacobs are a nice duo at RB, and Justin Fargas is a decent 3rd option. McNabb wa a really good pickup, and Housh, Holmes and Galloway are a solid group of receivers.
Weakest Player: Amani Toomer
Wildcard: Justin Fargas
7. Cwill- Cwill had one of the strongest teams going into the draft, but didn't really improve much, IMO. With Brady, Barber, Edwards, and Whitten, he has a premier player at each position. The problem is depth. I think Nate Burleson is a nice 3rd option at wr, but he's the 2nd on this team. Kevin Smith should get carries, but we really don't know how good he's going to be. Maurice Morris is in a crowded backfield in Seattle. This team was the team to beat before the draft and still has a shot, but not the favorite at this point.
Weakest Player: Lamont Jordan
Wildcard: Andre Hall
8. Reddman- Another team that you can't count out. Favre and Schaub are decent options at QB. LT is going to get his. Selvin Young may not be Denver's goaline back, but he has value in a ppr league. I love the Chris Perry pick. I think he's got a bright future in Cincy now that rudy is on his way out. Jennings is a solid #1 receiver. Cooley is a great TE. Depth is an issue with this team. If Marvin Harrison is healthy and not in jail, this team will be up there with the best in the league.
Weakest Player: Dennis Northcutt
Wildcard: Marvin Harrison
9. RMC- Again, another team not rated as high that has a chance to make some noise. Hasselbeck is solid, though I question who he'll throw to. Larry Johnson and Joseph Addai are both studs. Jonathan Stewart could end up being the best rookie rb. Mendenhall was also a decent pickup. The problem with this team is at WR. Bolden is solid, Driver is ok, but no one else really jumps out. In a ppr league, that could be a problem.
Weakest Player: Justin Gage
Wildcard: Jonathan Stewart
10. 007- This team has a nice core with Brees, Westbrook, and Roy Williams, but the draft wasn't very good. Julius Jones was a decent pickup, and Patrick Crayton will be solid, but those guys should be 3rd options, not 2nd. Can't really count this team out, but I doubt it makes the playoffs.
Weakest Player: Derrick Ward
Wildcard: Julius Jones
11. Ron Mexico Ron, I really wanted to rank you higher than this. I respect the fact that you're from the port city, but this is as high as I can put you for now. Manning is a stud, but besides him there are a lot of question marks. I like mike turner, but I don't know about McGahee and Graham. They could be really good, but I see them as average. Mason has alot of value in a ppr league, but he's a 3rd option at best. Honestly, Ward is a #3 fantasy wr. Maybe you can make a few trades, who knows. Good luck.
Weakest Player: Ben Obomanu
Wildcard: Michael Turner
12. Drunken Clams- The Clams have a nice duo of RB's in Grant and Lynch, but really not much after that. Chad Johnson is solid, but how healthy is he? Santanna Moss may be the most frustrating fantasy player ever. He's going to do really shitty, then the week you bench him he'll go off. Does it every season. Either way, having him as a #2 wr isn't good. Not alot of depth on this team. I'm not sold on Garrard as a #1 fantasy qb, either. It's not going to be a fun year for the Clams.
Weakest Player: Limas Sweed
Wildcard: Ronnie Brown
13. Knat- This team really didn't turn out as bad as I origionally thought it did after the draft. Big Ben and Kitna are both quality options at qb. Thomas Jones could have a really nice year. The trio of Coles, Burress, and Berrian is actually one of the better trios in the league. If Felix Jones and Chris Johnson get their touches, this team could sneak up on some people.
Weakest Player: Sam Hurd
Wildcard: Chris Johnson
14. NOBes- When the Minnesota Vikings defense could be a keeper option, it's not looking good. Palmer is going to put up numbers, and Colston, Holt, and KW Jr are nice receiving options, but there is very little after that. If Deuce can get back to playing like Deuce and if Lindale can improve from last year's season, NOBes can win 3-4 games.
Weakest Player: Fred Jackson
Wildcard: Chris Henry (wr)

My team will be good.
Deuce looks good...he will get all the redzone touches.
Betts will be a stud when Portis goes down.
I picked up Jackson for down the road when Lynch goes down.

All, ALL split carry guys....a little biased???
TO is a top 2 WR, but Bbwe has no one to throw him the ball and Chambers may be good but V. Jackson is looking to make this his breakout year and if Gates is healthy he is going to eat up most of the recepts along with LT. Nice trio - pffftttt!
Slaton is too little.
