Last year's LSU team probably only loses one game (UF) this season and is getting ready for a return trip to the SECCG

2007 tOSU still loses to USC and PSU

Last years LSU would lose to UF and then UF again. So they would be going to the Cotton Bowl or be an at-large selection

Is there any doubt in anyone's mind at all that 2008 Florida, USC, OU, Texas would all have won the bcs nc last season? Possibly also Penn St. and Alabama.

That's what I'm here for, Spirit

I don't think Bama wins the NC last season. Texas Tech probably would have

Not sure if 2008 Texas Tech gets by 2007 Oklahoma. I have never been a believer in Texas Tech this year. They just happened to catch Texas at the right time

Funny thing is that this years Kansas and Missouri teams are at least just as good if not better than they were last year,

2007 KU was better, not just cause of their schedule, they did lose some guy's on D. Texas, OU and TT are all better this year.

Outside of 2007 USC, I doubt a single one of last years teams would automatically qualify for a bcs bowl this year.

what a shocker coming from You.

2007 LSU >> 2008 Alabama

I agree, but 2007 USC would still be 11-1 against this years schedule. Our last years team would still beat Ohio St.

Either way are you disagreeing with my premise that their are 5 or so teams this season that are better than any team last year?

Yes and no, I'd take 2007 LSU over 2008 OU/UT/Bama especially if when healthy (like in the BCS CG or begining of 2007).

Don't tell the gumps, but give me Nick Saban and I'll take 2006 LSU over anyone from 06, 07 or 08.
