I have to say xiv, that your poll is just full of so much wrong.

MJ, you said you went by quality wins, yet Ole Miss isn't even in your top 25. If Oregon State is just for their win over USC, then Ole Miss should be to.

I know. I went into the poll assuming that Ole Miss would be ranked. I had a very difficult time finding a spot for them. I felt the need to get some more ACC teams in there as overall from top to bottom that is the best conference, they just lack any elite teams. I did struggle not putting Ole Miss in there and they easily could be, so could Virginia Tech, and others. Very little is seperating #20 to #30 IMO. Still I have only 2 ACC teams ranked and that seems kind of low.

20-30 is very close. Too many ACC and Big 10 teams with only three losses to Ole Miss' four losses. Still though, I found a way to stick them in at #23.

Missiouri will probably get knocked out this week, opening up another spot. Cincy has that always tricky road game on the Rock as well.

I have Missouri at 18 but I don't know if I will knock them out of my 25 if they lose. It depends on the score. If OU hangs 60 on them like they have been doing to everyone else, then Mizzou will drop out. But, if they can keep it competitive and stay within 14 points I will probably keep them in.
Also Boston College could fall out if they lose their conference championship game. But then Virginia Tech would probably jump in.

(And feel free to tell me what's wrong with the system. Don't tell me "There's no way TT should be ahead of OU." Tell me what's wrong with the formula. "Correct" it for me.)

Oklahoma has played a much stronger SOS than Texas Tech, Oklahoma absolutely crushed TT, there was no doubt who was better, yet you have Texas Tech ranked higher. Explain.

Texas Tech beat Texas who beat Oklahoma. Makes sense to me.

BTW, I think OU is better than TT; if OU beats Mizzou, they'll jump TT and maybe Texas. No big deal right now, says I.

You have TT as only slightly stronger? How is that possible? They played 2 1AA teams in their OOC and their toughest OOC game was Nevada. OU played the Big East champions and the MWC #2, there is no comparison there. TT played a slightly stronger in conference schedule playing Missouri as opposed to K State.

I would also add that not using some form of margin of victory and/or margin of defeat as well as venue is an inherent flaw in your formula.

Easter Bunny, you're going to hate me...
I incorrectly listed GT as 8-3, but they're really 7-3 (vs. FBS; I don't count FCS wins.)

Ok, my mistake I was going off of memory and confused Okie St with Mizzou. So thy have played an identical conference schedule, and Oklahoma played a far, far tougher ooc and your garbage formula somehow has OU only playing slightly stronger schedule?
Explain how Cincy, TCU, UW, and 1AA is only slightly better than 1AA, 1AA, Nevada, and SMU?
Waiting to here the bullshite spin on this one.
