i think that is fricking stupid. i remember last year in football, after the keepers were set i was going to offer a pick for a player. ronnie, i believe, made a huge stink about it saying "u can't have 5 players going into the draft, the keepers are 4!!!" that doesn't make since to me. after the keepers are frozen, the free agent pool is set. none of those players are available. that is the point of having a keeper deadline, to make sure that there is a free agent pool. after the keepers are set in stone, you should be able to make trades like you normally would. if someone wants to trade a draft pick for a player, what difference does it make when the free agent pool is set?
