See man, that's what I'm talking about. YOU lacked the comprehension skills to have an effective discussion there. And then you decide to be a fricking douche once you realizE it.
Again: frick you are difficult motherfricker.

i'm not in the other keeper leagues, but you are and said we are too whiney. do they deal picks in those leagues?
I didn't say anything about being too winey, but I've never seen a deal be vetoed in any other league or people offering draft picks to others to not deal. And we deal picks all the time. I have no clue what it is about this league that has caused so much what i feel to be "unethical," for lack of a better word, things going on.

nobes i don't what to say, you obviously saw the deal and needed to ask me to repeat it to you.
I'm not getting caught in the Nobes vortex here so i'll leave it as is.

I really think the driving force behind this leagues activity is the undeniable desire to keep me from winning again.

what happens if stout, for example, doesn't want to participate next year? he's got 4, 1st round picks. how are we going to distribute them? if we get somebody to join in his place, then does he just assume those picks?
This is a better point, I would think that yes somebody would just take over the team as is
Yeah, it's like buying a frachise.

this is the first i've heard about the bribe, and i agree it's fricked up
i'm going to say it's because the difference between playoffs and 9th is almost nothing
hell if your team plays like this every week you can end up 6th or so easily
add in the fact that i think this league was deep last year and it's just ridiculously deep this year. i mean i was happy to get a player the caliber of bobby simmons when blake got hurt. and he's garbage

Man I told you I can't access the league right now.
I get all trade offers and accepted trades emailed to me.
The emails only specify players not any picks so I was asking if there were picks because you should have got picks.
I don't see why you always have be suuch a snide little bitch.

I'm glad someone else realizes it's not the same as a 3 way deal. The best part is it's the commish doing it.

I don't know though, the football league was very close and there wasn't one problem all year and it seems like football would be the league where there was the most intensity so to speak

I'll veto my trade for a 5th rounder if you think it was a bad deal?
I wanted a pick, Karma didn't have any. I just wanted Butler as a keeper and traded two non keepers for him. I'm fine

was the football league a week-by-week W/L thing or essentially a cumulative scoring like this?
because if it's W/L, then people are more prone to just say, "frick" if they lose that week
when you break shite down into stats like this, it requires a lot more activity and attention to detail in order to fill out your team. you can't just load up on 2-3 stud RBs and 1 QB and have shite everywhere else

it was W/L, but baseball is cumulative and we don't have these problems either. I'm just going to blame it all on Nobes and Stout's man love. We don't have that in the other leagues.

There are 5 functions to basketball being more active.
1. A lot more players in the talent pool.
2. Daily lineups make people look at their team more often
3. Basketball only having 5 positions and players being eligible for multiple positions allows for more movement.
4. NBA injuries arent as devastating as NFL inuries
5. NO ONE wants to see the NOBes win again

You dont consider Okafor a keeper?

yes baseball was as close and has double the players as basketball so Nobes 5 point plan doesn't fly

He was borderline. I wasn't looking to deal him but that's how it worked out. Besides mccain wanted him for a 3rd round pick and I wanted to deal him before he could get in Karma's pocket again

Well without point 5 all the others really arent that big a deal.
I am serious...McCain, Marle, Port would all rather drink piss than see me win again.
ETA:I was comparing it to football.
