-My problem with this is Les is getting way better this year and arguably better next year.

i'm glad someone finally admitted why they vetoed.

did you see the league message board?
per rmcc:
"How is this any different from the trade that got vetoed?"

Now you hang your hat on age. These guys will all be good dext year and would be drafted in the first 5 rounds ofa redraft easily.

You guys overplay the keeper aspect.

I guaran-fricking-tee rick won't have all these players 3 years from now (if this league lasts that long)

I think people in the various leagues overplay the draft pick aspect but it doesn't lead me to veto.

Bosh>Carter

Beasley= Jamison as early as next year

you would take the 2 younger players in this instance?

they are less likely to get injured, and more likely to sustain the numbers they have been putting up.

It's not all about "keepers" when it comes to the age thing.

See TMac this year. He isnt even that old, and his play has dropped.

Look at Shaq's decline after he won a title in Miami. NOt just in games played, but production.

It happens.

Vince Carter isnt getting any better.

Jamison isnt getting any better.

Chris Bosh could get better.

and Beasely will definitely get better.

Bad example

why?

he went from:

22/11, 73 games

to

20/10, 59 games played

to

17/7, 40 games played

to

13/9 last year

he is rejuvenated this year, but it wont last

LE, but that fact makes the 2-2 a fair trade.

But not the other 3 decent players for 3 waiver wire players who will never play ever.

For you to do those other 3, the 2 keepers you gave would have to be clearly and overwhelmingly better than the 2 he gave.

they're not.
