Talledega thread | JR's last race there | NBC

JR was on the pole
Everything was going ok until a caution came out right when everyone hit pit road and now they all including JR have been sent to the end of the longest line
Idk what else NASCAR can do but that's a really shitty penalty to get, nothing the drivers could've done about it

Yeah at some point common sense has to come into play. That McMurray crash was brutal.

Well they pretty much have to close out road at a caution otherwise everyone will dive down there when a caution occurs to try to get an advantage which would not only be unfair but also potentially dangerous
That said they might could incorporate some level of judgement in the penalty for a situation like that where obviously all those guys were pitting anyways and it had nothing to do with the caution occurring

They all were like 30’ from pit road and had already committed to pitting before the wreck even happened

Have these guys completely forgotten to wave before coming to pit road?

I understand but the rule is black and white
That's why I'm saying the rule needs to be adjusted

Seem to be getting awfully racy now

Big one coming shortly.

And then they go single file.

I'm a little behind on DVR, no idea why Ives didn't have JR pit before pit road closed

Finished watching the Saints. Looks like I didn’t miss much so far in the race.

Nah not much. Still a ton of cars in it.

God almighty Greg Ives is a god damned idiot

Caution. This makes things interesting.

This is probably Danica’s last shot at a Cup win. Calling it now: Stenhouse pushes her to the win. Junior fans tear down the grandstands.

Crowd should thin after all the Joey Gase fans leave. Their man is done.

Logano's car seems to be pretty strong

I was about to post then weren’t done wrecking yet, and ... wreck.
Danica May win by attrition.
