Actually, SS is right here, Les. I wasn't around to see Dunn and co., but everyone I talked to that knew anything said it was the most talented all-around in CHS history.

This oliver kid better than Lewis was as a Soph?
I don't think so. I only saw Lewis play as a jr. and sr., so I can't say for sure, but I don't know.
that being said, Lewis probably would have gone to a better program if he didn't have the opportunity to walk on for baseball at Rice as well.
if you want a little comparison between the two, Lewis was definitely more mobile, but Oliver has a fricking arm. he made a really good throw in the jamboree against RHS to setup the game-winning FG. it was about 35 yds, across the field and across his shoulder, and into like double coverage. he also had some really good drives going.
I still don't think he's LSU material, but he's pretty good.

Ponder type arm? Ponder had a little more zip than Lewis

don't post that shite on the internet brah. I don't know about that, but I would have never thought back in the day that he would get this good.

I wouldn't go as far as he did, but he's not really that far from the truth, esp. at skill positions (excluding WR).
