he screwed the Lakers, but at least the Hornets got a good deal. I liked the Lakers deal better.

For us old-time New Orleans Jazz fans, nothing will ever make up for how the NBA TRULY frickED the Jazz out of Magic Johnson because the league/Larry O'Butthead wanted Magic Johnson in L.A.

No team has EVER been fricked by a league like that. And, from all the published reports at the time -- getting good reports at the time wasn't easy given there ESPN wasn't around -- it was because the Jazz signed an OLD and washed up Gail Goodridge "too early" -- even though the Lakers really hadn't planned on keeping Goodrich around in any event.

If we had the 24/7 sports coverage we have today I don't think that could EVER have possibly happened. It was a TRULY GRANDIOSE frick JOB of epic proportions. For us NEW ORLEANS Jazz fans, we have to wonder what would have been and whether the Jazz would have ever left New Orleans had we not been frickED out of Magic Johnson.

Rockets got screwed the most.

The Clippers deal was way better to sell the franchise but it could end up being way worse. Gordon isn't any better than Martin is right now and both could leave after 2 years. Odom and his contract is more valuable than Kaman. Scola is a way better player than Aminu. Maybe Aminu will be good, but it isn't a good sign when you can't start ahead of Ryan Gomes and then your team goes out and gets Caron Butler. Dragic would have been a very good pick up. So really, it comes down to how much worse the TWolves are compared to the Knicks this year.

How have you made it this far in life? I don't even know how old you are but it's a miracle that you've lasted this long, regardless of age.

Stern had to consider not only the players involved but the impact on both teams finances. The deal with the Lakers would have been a home run for the Lakers financially, and it would have made it even more difficult to find a buyer for the Hornets. Stern is not as idiotic as you think.
