One factor in Curry's ultimate decision was his comfort while testing the shoes of two Li-Ning signature athletes: Jimmy Butler, his fellow Warriors teammate, and Dwyane Wade.
Where was the headline when these two signed?

Would you expect anything less from a Kerr coached player
Athletes and entertainers are all frauds

He had some of the worst shoes imaginable with Under Armour, could they possibly be worse with Li-Ning?

Damon Jones was the pioneer. You'd think they would've given him a nice bonus when he got Shaq to sign but it obviously wasn't enough.

the amount of money steph will make oversees is unfathomable for a normal USA bro to understand...
These guys are like gods over there and in the 2010s the Warriors brand grew big time over on that side of the world.
Great investment for a guy on his way out.
Also.... the big brands don't see the investment in the big guys because they are on their way out. They flood themselves with the up and coming guys.
So major win here for Curry.
