Michigan Ohio state rematch

That should have happened. It didn't. No way we should have a rematch with two teams from the same conference, they said. That doesn't produce a real champion, they said.

I had a grand on OSU in that championship game. I was pretty stunned that what I perceived as a mediocre Fla squad dominated OSU and Michigan laid an egg in the Rose.

Other coaches with more wins vs. OSU than Harbaugh:
Jeff Brohm
Lincoln Riley
Dabo Swinney
Mark Dantonio

True, but I was looking at coaches in the time frame that Harbaugh has been at Michigan.

Day will be lucky to win 8 games in 2019.

Why do you say that?

Haskins turns pro. Most of the top 6 WR's will turn pro. Dobbins & Weber (both 1000 yard RB's) are likely gone. Martell is a dual threat QB and does not fit Day's offense.

And now Day has to be THE CEO. And he has to get all Meyer's loyalists to do it his way - NOT the Meyer way. Good luck with that.

Some assistant coaches will be looking to help Day, and some will only help him fall on his face. Deposing a legend, and then holding on to that power, can be a slippery slope.

Almost certain to happen.

Campbell, McLauren and Dixon are gone. Hill, Victor, Mack, Olave and KJ Hill will be back.

Dobbins is a sophomore. He can't leave.

Day has adapted the offense in the past to fit the strength of his players. This is my least concern.

You're thinking Ryan Day will win about half of the national championships over the next 15 years or so? That seems totally realistic.

You have Hill twice. But he's gone as is (probably) Victor - both have played a lot for 3 seasons. And Hill has had the most receptions out of all the WR's over the past 3 seasons. No way he stays. He's a 3rd round pick at worst. No upside for Hill or Victor to stay for the Martell show.

Correct about Dobbins.

Lotsa luck with that. Martell is a ball hog.

Day will play hell winning 8 games, and I don't think Day beats Michigan.
