Dammit, was that the Peach Bowl against GT when we whipped the shite out of them?
nah, his soph yr was the first starting. he actually put up decent numbers on the whole, and especially down the stretch. had he only remained that decent....

Jamarcus would turn around my beloved Raiders
Reggie Bush would be a superstar in the pros
USC wouldn't get hit too hard with sanctions
trading Pedro Martinez for Delino Deshields was a good move

some of mine:
- Big Dog Robinson would be a perennial All Star/ HOF/ one of the greatest SFs in NBA history
- Randolph Childress would basically be what Chauncey Billups turned into
- Matt Ryan wouldn't be good (there was some serious anyi-Ryan sentiment on the MSB around draft time that yr)

Saw LBJ play high school ball.
Thought he would just blend in with the rest of the tall folk in the NBA, and have an average but brief career.
Whoops.

Glen Davis was too fat and unathletic to make it in the NBA

After Michael Clayton's rookie season I thought he'd be in multiple pro bowls and a nice 10+ year career.
Oops.

I was pretty worried about signing a guy who had a complete 360 degree tear of his labrum.

Lendale White would be a dominant NFL running back

I thought Tebow was way overhyped coming out of high school and wouldn't do much at UF. I thought cam newton would start over Tebow in 2007

Jamarcus will be a decent journeyman quarterback like Testaverde or George.
I basically figured this was his upside too. With a couple of really, really good seasons mixed in.

I was pissed when the saints signed Drew Brees. I was like here we go again, another mediocre QB. I remember saying that we were going to be looking for another QB in two years.
Glad I wasn't the only one. Except I didn't even consider him to be mediocre....he was damaged goods in my mind. We'd be lucky if he played through an entire season without getting benched or hurt again. I thought Matt Leinart should have been our future.
Damn was I stupid. And very happy to admit that.

Also figured if the Cubs couldn't win the WS with Prior, Wood and Zambrano, they would never win one. Thank you, Dusty Baker.
