You guys are rather amusing. Timing of it has nothing to do with anything here. Schools file in a timely manner and still don't get rulings they need to accommodate their schedule.
Often, third parties intervene into the proceedings.making the process even more delayed.
Some of you guys really need to educate yourself.

Manipulated? WTF? There is eligiblity criteria for every NCAA student athlete that must be met before they can practice or play. There aren't special rules for Southern. They need to learn how to follow the rules.

i dont understand how this is a clearinghouse issue. This is two games where they have pulled people from the lineup literally minutes or hours before kick.
I guess what im saying is you know if a kid hasnt been cleared by the clearinghouse. I dont get the last second pulls.

That's the whole problem. And not just in the eligibility issue. Their performance on the field shows there is a lot missing. The organization out there on the field reminds me of kids football...I'm sure they start out with a reasonably structured game plan, but by the end of the 2nd series its just random plays.

It is supposed to be done in the summer immediately after high school graduation.
