What's the status of Jackson? Midseason call up a possibility?

He's batting .234 with 4HR, 13 RBI, 50 K's in 145ABs for Triple-A Iowa. Those are the stats, no idea when he gets a call.

He'll be up at some point this season.
He hasn't hit all too well in AAA to start the year though

He's been blocked. Derrek Lee then Carlos Pena
he wasnt a cub until 2010, so he was being blocked by olerud and sexson while playing for the mariners, but that still stopped him from getting a chance.

i know. Lee was the 1B in 2010, and they signed Pena last year to a 1 year deal.
He's been an elite AAA hitter the last 2 years in Iowa.
the Mariners gave him a shot and he didnt hit. I guess that is why he never stuck at the big league level.

I think they are auditioning LeHair to a contender down the stretch.

that's what confuses me sometimes about MLB teams. LaHair has never had a terrible year and has been quite good his whole minor league career. He gets one shot with the M's, fricks up and is branded a AAAA player.
On the other hand fricking Justin Smoak is given opportunity after opportunity and continues to hit like a puss.
