My point is, I think the NBA is down on good young talent right now.

Not really.....

This draft and 2 years ago drafts were bad, but no there isn't a shortage of young talent in the league.

There are some great young talent at PG:
Lillard, 22
Wall, 22
Bledsoe, 23
Kyrie Irving, 21
Jrue Holiday, 22
Steph Curry, 25
Derrick Rose, 24
Westbrook, 24

The best players in college now all seem to leave as early as they can, which means their development into elite players may take a year or two.

But you have obviously not been keeping up with the NBA if you think talent is down.

Talent is down in one area, centers, but that is about it. What we have lost in the true center position we have gained at the PG position.

Wiggins is highly praised. Also Parker and the Kentucky twins. These guys will be in the NBA year after next.

I think the NBA's talent is rising but that is global talent, not just a handfull of players. Everyone is getting better and it seems as if there are less superstars, because there are, everyone can play. The NBA is still on the rise IMO, baseball is standing fast while football is slowly losing talent to the court.

I think you are forgetting that other Kentucky player Julius Randle.

I heard Andy Katz on SVP & Russillo who said Wiggins, Parker, and Randle would go top 3 in THIS draft.

I think ESPN's lack of national coverage is hurting this guys opinion of the talent in the NBA. It is hard to see to the casual fans when you turn on ESPN and there seems to be only 3 teams in the league that matter.

I really think Kyrie Irving and John Wall are about to be super stars in the next couple of years if they are able to stay healthy.
