oops....I forgot

Well, they both lost to the Celtics. Here are their stats, per game:

I'd love to see what Lebron could do if he had Gasol or Shaq

If he was in L.A., he wouldn't have these stats, so we wouldn't have these threads, so the point would be moot.

Put Kobe in Cleveland and he tears it up stat wise. Put Bron in L.A. on a Shaq team and he wins a title. People act like some big, drastic change would occur.

How is that a boom? Unless I'm reading the stats wrong(which is possible because I am out of it), Kobe shot better from every aspect of shooting and had less turnovers. LeBron averaged more rebounds (which he should since he's a forward) and more assists (which he should because Kobe plays in the triangle).

That proves nothing other than both of them weren't very good against a good defensive team. Neither had any help, neither played extremely well.

Do you have any idea how the offensive works under Phil Jackson?

The Lakers evenly distribute the ball. Watch the team play every once in while.

You think LeBron would have more assists in LA than in Cleveland? That's what I was originally referring to, and if you think so, you're a tard.

If you're referring to LeBron having more in LA than Kobe in LA, he wouldn't have some substantial difference.

uh yeah, i see no reason why he wouldnt.

he would be surrounded by more quality players to begin with, which would increase the likelihood of passing to someone with capability of making a field goal.

just a quick look at it puts the cavs with Z at 51% shooting and Ben Wallace at 47%

whereas, the lakers have Pau Gasol at 55% and bynum at 54%.

Cocks, no one averages a ton of assists in L.A. LeBron averages a lot of assists now because he facilitates basically everything in Cleveland. History shows that people just do not average a ton of assists in a Phil Jackson led offense. Point guards don't even average a ton of assists in his offense. Despite how great of a passer LeBron is, and after watching a lot of great passers with good court vision go through Phil Jackson, I highly doubt it would happen.

Kobe had 10 last night, and that was just due to a ton of double teams late in the game. LeBron wouldn't be doubled or tripled nearly as much in LA as in Cleveland, thus he'd look for his own shot more. He'd also play less over the course of a season because of Phil's weird arse tendency to sit his better players for long amounts of time.

and yet, ironically, they average 23 assists a game compared to clevelands 20.

and the LALs also happen to be 2nd in the league in assists per game.

1. jazz
2. lakers

16. cavs

i would quit if i were you because like you said you are obviously out of the loop

Lebron played the Celtics by himself and still put up numbers as good as Kobe with a few exceptions. At the end of the day Lebron competed against the Celtics last year and it appeared to me that Kobe folded up. Just my opinion though.

Did you completely miss the "evenly distributed" part earlier? (i'm rounding up)

Kobe averages 5
Gasol averages 4
Fisher averages 4
Bynum averages 2
Lamar averages 2
Ariza averages 2
Farmar averages 2
Sasha averages 2
Walton averages 2

It's the most balanced passing team in the league due to Phil Jackson's offense.

The Lakers, like I clearly stated and you clearly ignored, are a balanced passing team. No one dominates the assist column, not even PGs. If you round up, the Cavs only have 5 players averaging two assists a game, which is due to LeBron basically doing whatever he wants. The Lakers have 8, which is due to a balanced offense. No one in the NBA would have a ton of assists in the triangle.
