I know a few people that went to IMG that show the opposite sides of it in a funny way…

Two of my good friends from club and high school soccer played on the U-17 soccer YNT for a year there, which is not an IMG team but they go to the school. These are legit national teamers that got recruited and probably didn’t pay shite. Many of our best national team players came from this program. These guys did not end up making the senior national team ever but went to UNC and UCLA and played extensively. Very legit. Very involved in youth national teams for years.

The third kid “got recruited,” went down there and paid his own way. His parents got fricking scammed, I feel bad. He ended up playing on the IMG like 8th team at our age group. We played against his team in a tournament and beat the shite out of them. It was more sad than anything.
