SLC is already in the semis right?

if maryland wins and scores 10 runs, that puts them in, not sure if washington or SLC would get in after. 3 teams could finish 2-1 with a SLC loss.

Fontenot is great, Quinn is just pretty good.

Quinn can't pitch tonight, and Fontenot brings the heat. Both are top caliber pitchers though.

WHat am I missing about this tiebreaker? I've been flipping back and forth so maybe I missed it. But it Lake Charles scores runs wouldn't that push Maryland's runs against higher? Meaning they'd have to score more than 12 runs.

SLC can just walk the next 8 batters and advance.

OK so Maryland cant score 10...it might be poor sportsmanship but what if LC just intenionally walked like 7 ppl in a row and it's over and LC advances
