This is dumb.
So many times they could punish teams by sending out 2TE and a FB - you just don’t practice against that many blockers coming at you with backs like Gordon, Ball, Taylor etc.

During a recent scrimmage in Camp Randall Stadium, Wisconsin quarterback Tanner Mordecai fired a bullet to Braelon Allen running a circle route out of the backfield. Allen hauled it in and kept possession through a hard shot from a safety in the end zone for a touchdown. That one play said a lot about how different Badgers football is going to be in 2023.
God I’m so happy lsu moved on from this mindset after Les. Also, let’s not pretend like the Wisconsin OC won’t run the hell out of the ball. A few years ago he had 2 1,000 yard rushers in the same backfield. It just won’t be run out if I-formation into stacked boxes.

I mean the only time running a wide-open spread worked better was with the best quarterback in college football history, two all-pro receivers, and the perfect back for that offense.
