So Zach is saying that soccer isn't popular in the U.S.? 
It will probably never be as popular as football or basketball, or even baseball, at least not in the near future. I'm always amazed how little some of my friends from rural areas know about soccer. They think I'm full of shite when I tell them I knew more people in high school that played than football. I'm guessing Zach is one of these people.
